and the most resold it seems too. why would you sell a DD! I guess the Luke neck isnt for everyone. Also if you own an AL then you already know bliss, isnt that right Glenn?

I love my one off Dargie Silo Special piezo!

I never played a Luke how much difference is there compared to a Silo? In the neck that is?

I think the necks are pretty similar, but I'm a hack and think they are all are the same for the most part.

Rob can probably give you the best input on that man, he use to have a Luke and he's got a Silo Special right now.

The Luke is a V neck, as is widely known, the Silo Special fits my hands better, just like the AL does. More of a C shape, which to me is most comfortable.

Glenn if something better than the DD Luke is coming along then i'm excited for you!!!!!!!!!

Rob man, thanx, I have big plans and I hope they work out. :D

Yah I love my Silo Special and AL, they are very similar neck wise huh. I really liked th e Luke too and I hate to part with the DD, but it's one of those things.

Thanx again. :)

Hey Rob, I know you didn't ask me, but given the choice, the AL neck would be on every one of my EBMMs. However, I have gotten used to the Luke and really love it now. It feels 'inspiring'....especially for blues noodling...:p

I do find it interesting (and cool) that the neck profiles of the various EBMM models are so different. There really is something for everyone. Given the variety of neck shapes, it would be really cool if the folks at EBMM could take a 'choose your body, choose your neck' approach, but I do understand the manufacturing challenges that would pose.

You're a few days too late:eek: I linked an auction of a Dargie Silo, but it was gone within a few hours.

The link can be seen in the Ebay/craigslist thread.

Good luck finding a Dargie!

I was wise enough to grab a LUKE and JP in Dargie Delight, and I'm not letting either one go. The JP has become my number 1 for gigging and practice, and the LUKE is right there for drop-D and single coil Floyd style solos. Plus the neck on the LUKE is raunchy with birdseye - it isn't going anywhere......

I had a bunch of the leather straps made up after I saw one posted on the bass side, they are all gone now.

If you can find a Dargie guitar for sale, snap it up.

Yes, that's an old-style bridge pickup in the JP. I have an idea for modding the LUKE, too...

Damn, looks like I am SOL on the getting a Dargie Silo! HA With only 12 being made that is! Maybe we could talk BP into making another limited run but in purple! We could call it the Barnie Delight!

I've got mine! 1 of 4 :D

Dude that's not true, they have been popping up on EvilBay resently.

Don't know where you are located, but there was recently one for sale on this forum in the Guitars for sale thread. I don't believe it was sold, and believe it to be in Europe.

Glenn - don't get rid of that Blue Dawn Silo. That's the first BD Silo I've ever seen -- very nice look.

Sorry man, I sold the Blue Dawn Silo about a year about to my Buddy OC, who has since parted with it, but not after doing a ton of work on it man.
