i have an ada mp-1 that just sits in my closet (because a jp6 straight into a mkiv is way too sweet). today somebody offered me a trade for a fender m-80 and a peavey 212. so i did a little google job and came up with a little bit of info but...its the internet and reviews are subjective. ive found that this forum is the most mature and has more of my respect. if you guys could give me any opinions id appreciate it.

I actually have an ADA MP-1 and a Fender M-80. The M-80 really only sounds good when I run the ADA into the power amp otherwise it is pretty much only good for being loud. I got it so I could bring it out without having to worry about the good amps. The whole half stack is worth less than the MP-1.

I sold my ADA MP1 on ebay for $350 last year. Put the money toward a Tech 21 PSA-1, which in my opinion sounds way heavier. The ADA was great, but I like the PSA-1 better by far. More versatile. PLUS, the PSA-1 is skinny enough to fit on my pedalboard! No more rack for me.

I bought the M-80 half stack back in the day. It was terrible. Clean was ok for a solid state amp but the amp roasted 3 times in less than 90 days. The dirty channel is probably as bad as they get. Well, that's my .02

I'd keep the MP-1, or sell it for something useful, like cash.
