Well, stupid story, will you probably think.
A couple of days ago, I was offered a deal : trading my beloved Laila (SR5) for a mint 5-string active MIA and now discontinued bass from some very famous manufacturer.
I have been GASing for this model for years, but on the other hand I'm severely addicted to EBMMs (and most specifically with my SR5).
I wish to be quite honest : I was about to finalize the deal.
Five minutes ago (thus the title of this topic), I had to work on a couple of tracks for the next rehearsal. I took Laila out of her case, put my hands on her, and guess what ? Thinking it was about to go, I started to cry.
Lesson learned. One can get parted with a bass for another he wants so bad. But you don't get parted with a bass you love that much, no matter what the reason or purpose is. At least for me.
Cheers guys !
PS. I anyway wouldn't have left the EBMM club, since I'm currently saving for an SR4. But hey.
