I thought you were going to say, "NOTHING!" :D

No, I just thought it would be funny to see BP read the title, snap, hop on a plane to Toronto and kick my a$$!;):D

I had a chance to plug it in for less than a minute at Club Bass in Toronto through a MB LMII and the new Bergantino cabs and it sounds amazing.

The fit and finish is perfect and my bass is the lightest 30th I have played.

I have a gig tomorrow and I will have to chose between my 2007 LE and the 30th. Terrible problem to have.

It might crack the finish on that new baby...eh?
Seriously though, I wouldn't leave mine in the car, I bring it in to work and keep it in my office.

Isn't it lunch time yet?

If you play it though, you'll end up going home sick for the afternoon. This I know!

Dave is a good man.

He looked everywhere and quickly found me a NEW SR 30th after I was jerked around by a large Canadian retailer and he always takes care of me. I bought my MB F1 and 2 other (non EBMM) basses from him within the last year and he is close to talking me into Bergantini cabs!

It is all about relationships in business and he is good at building them IMO.

I got home a bit early from the office and gave this 30th a quick A/B against my 2007LE SR4 and even though they both sound great, the 30th is better sounding to me at this early stage. I ran them both through a Markbass F1 set flat and a 2x10 Ampeg cab with no effects. Both basses were played with the treble and mids flat and the bass full (my usual gig settings + or - ).

But.... I did a couple of gigs and a few weeks of practice with the LE so I will have to put some new Slinkys on it to compare properly.

This bass is going to be a pleasure to gig tomorrow! Can't wait.:)

One of the best things? IT ONLY WEIGHS 9LBS!!!!!

I will post some pics of my NEW Ball family later:)

Hey Baird.....Why are you trying to PM me?

Didn't want to brown nose too much on the board.:D

Thanks for "helping me decide" to go with the 30th. Well worth sacrificing 4 Fenders for.

This thing is amazing. Truly a great sounding instrument.

I might need to grab a second 30th as a backup OR to throw a set of flats on for gigs.;):D Where are those other Fenders?;)
