Hey duolos! Tell me about the Splawn - is that a Quickrod? I have my eye on the Splawns - I was told the Quickrod would get me the early EVH tone - is it true? Would love to hear som samples.

Hey there Mr Radd! I'm a Quickrod user, not so much into the VH tone though it nails it to a "T" if that's what you want.

Here are some of my clips. I'm not the greatest player in the world but this will give you an idea of what the amp can sound like. The clips were recorded using 2nd gear, which is like a modded JCM 800. They have a ton of gain, great low end but yet are very articulate...they'll keep your playing honest

Nemesys - i really like the F50 - what do you think of it?

I love that amp. Great cleans, nice drive channel that can cover everything from blues to grunge. 'Contour' is a perfect boost for when I have a solo. Doesn't hurt that my Silhouette is an absolutely *perfect* match for it, doesn't need any pedals or anything, though I occasionally use a bit of light chorus or delay.
