Guys,

I spotted a Cutlass for sale on the Polish equivalent of eBay - apparently a 1983 model serial number: B023151. Bass has been modified with Seymour Duncan pickup and some electronic work plus Hipshot D tuner, but if I understand correctly the original parts are included with the bass.

The Buy It Now price ('Kup Teraz' in Polish) works out around the 1300 USD price range.

Here is a link to the website for all those interested:

Nice Parts Bass for someone, Bridge and Preamp Are NOT Original, Good for someone who don't care and wants to spend 3X too much Money.

+2 noticed the bridge as soon as i saw the auction, DEFINATELY NOT, thing is yeah seymour duncans are ok, but they wont sound like musicman p'ups and the original will be hard to find...

then again you guys say way too expensive, over here in the UK that's not a bad price at all and i don't think poland is much different. If you want it go for it but try and replace the bridge and pickups, and electronics if possible.

Even for Europe, the price is too high given that it's not original.
IMO, such instruments have no resale value at all...

yeah... i thought the cutlass looked like the sabre anyway?

And if you look at the strings the bridge is ENTIRELY wrong, looks completely unplayable to me. the strings aren't even over the pickup poles.
