Serial Numbers : What is the production date of my guitar?

No worries friend. Patience has never been my strong suit. Sorry about that.

Japan, huh? Cool! I got it from a guy in Ohio.

As for the neckplate. Yes, it just has the Music Man logo on the bottom part. You know the logo, says Music Man and has 2 guitar players coming out of the top of the M. The serial number is below that. Here are some pics. Can't really see the logo in the last one but you can see it's not the bigger Ernie Ball/Music Man logo. Actually, Bengal, when you said neckplate, I thought you meant headstock LOL! anyway that all seems normal. I rechecked the serial number and it indeed was originally shipped to Japan, everything else checks out. This guitar has done some moving around ... nice guitar!

Bluplirst, welcome - your Axis SuperSport was completed on 5/1/07 and was shipped to Spencer's Music Room in beautiful downtown Olathe, Kansas. ;)

New JP in MD finish and loaded just received this past week (Serial No. G40460).

Can you please tell me the DOB for it and if it was set up with 9's or 10's given that it was shipped out right around the time the change back to 10's occurred?

My first Musicman is a Silhouette but she's very special.

Number is 96310. She's in Honey Burst with a FloydRose Trem :cool:

I'm looking for information and DOB :)

morsecode, it would have gone out with 9's as it was produced on 2/27/08 and was shipped to Northwest Guitar Works/Act 1, BC.

Madri, welcome to the Forum - yes, your Silhouette was completed on January 19 1995. She has an HSS pickup configuration and a solid maple neck. Sweet! :cool:;)
