So, I went out to eat with my family and my dad's friends. My brother and I, decided to go to the Guitar Center in Scottsdale, AZ, since it was in the same Plaza. So I was just screwing around with these middle end Ibanez guitars. My brother and I were about to leave, until I took a final look at the main wall of guitars.
Believe it or not, I saw 2 Ernie Ball MusicMan John Petrucci Signatures. 1 was Sapphire Black, loaded without Inlays, and 1 Candy Apple Red fully loaded. I asked one of the guys if they could pull it down for me( I was surprised they would do that, considering it is an extremely high end guitar, and I am only 15). Anyways, I was going to play through a Mesa Triple Rec, but I wasn't able to switch channels. So I had to settle with a Crate practice amp. Considering Crate is not the best amp that is on the market, I could not believe the Incredible Tone that came out of this guitar. I literally, would have done anything at that moment to get it(Obviously I would not steal it
, but you catch my drift). I could pick out that tone that you year from JP's performances. The action and feel on the guitar, could not have been any better. The next was so smooth, and so natural, it was incredible. From my point of view, nothing could be done to make this guitar any better.
Bottom line is, after not playing that guitar for over a year, I love that guitar, and I will somehow gather the money to purchase it. And I must thank, Ernie Ball MusicMan for making such an incredible guitar.
