I'm extremely close to receiving my new BFR - i can just feel it! :D:D:D I'm crossing my fingers that the next batch of Official BFR Pics will include my new baby! Per Dargin's post in another thread, the new batch should be up soon! The anticipation is mounting....................

I had a hard enough time getting this one 'approved' by my wife-to-be. It's T-36 days until I get married so this guitar may very well be my last hoorah for a while (if not ever)!

your future wife needs to know that this is the thing you love. I told my wife on our first date that I love guitars and I have GAS for new ones all the time. She gets it. Tell her that it could be worse, you could be a 1960's musclecar collector, or an art collector. When you put it in perspective, our guitars are downright cheap!! ;)

try that one on her!!

:) She understands that it is a major part of who I am. We are a bit strapped for cash right now with her looking for a teaching job and wanting to buy a house in the near future so she has a hard time seeing so much cash go out the door for a guitar. But I don't collect guitars because I don't have the means to do so. I only keep what I actually play and what I am 100% satisfied with. My list of guitars is short for that reason (very short). Anyway, this was a big purchase for me and i'm lucky to have gathered up the cash to be able to own one of these fine guitars! There's not another guitar on earth that I would spend this much money on!

Pittman - I almost sold both my JPs (when i still had my white one) to afford a BFR, but boy am I glad I kept Misty (my mystic dream JP). I would say DO NOT sell both your MM guitars unless they just don't 'do it' for you. That was the case with my white JP over time so I let it go...

If it were me waiting for the order, it would either come the day before the wedding or while on honeymoon. I wish you all the luck that you get it long before then!

Is it just me or do any of you guys feel the urge to move to Wheat Ridge, Colorado. They have some of the most amazing pieces!

Also, Did you see that BBB JP7 on page 35, Post 522?! HOLF! Amazing! And all the TB JPs look incredible. And the quilts on those Lukes, and the Pink AL and the...*dies

I know dudes! All the new colors look amazing! It's hard to settle on one EB but the JPs are the ones that suit me best IMO and the Tobacco Burst is just sooo tasty... And the top (on post #541) on the flamed top TB BFR heading to Wheat Ridge (like all the other nice tops) is to die for!

Still crossing my fingers for mine to appear soon!

Hope it shows up soon for ya, Adam! I totally would pull the trigger on a Koa one if they were out now, but I just pulled the trigger on a rare Mesa Dual Rec. Rackmount head. Can't wait for that baby to get here! :D My rig of doom is almost complete.

Pics of your TB JP are mandatory when you get it. Got it? Good. :)

I feel the need to acknowledge the fact that today marks exactly three months since I ordered my BFR in January! She can't be far off now... this is when the wait starts causing severe anxiety! :p

I'm waiting for it, Adam. I feel like I'm the one getting it! I keep checking everyday and I see a flamed TB and I go- OOH THAT'S HIS! And I realize its not. I get disappointed, and my whole day is ruined.

That's an exaggeration- but I'm anxious too!
