That is unofficial site. They don't have access to the actual earni ball database.
You have to send them info so they can post it.

so now i have an '88 born on 6/2 and an'89 born on 6/2...pretty cool...the guy who owned this bass before me has taken it all over the world and had the finger board epoxied which just makes the fingerboard look gourgious and more durable...plays great

Keith, no problem, that's what this thread is for! Your lefty Bongo in Egyptian Smoke finish with a black pearloid pickguard was completed on 6/14/06 and was originally shipped to boys at Bass Central.

bajoman, according to our records, your fingerboard/fretboard is quite rosewood. The reason Dunlop and others tell you not to use their lemon oil on maple is because with most instruments using maple, the maple is finished/sealed which means the lemon oil would have no effect except to make it gungky .... actually, what we now use and recommend very highly is this fabulous new product:

elbasso, welcome! There is no list that I know of where the serial number info is posted - Gav has his list, at MusicMan.org | Music Man | Man Bass | Music Man | Guitar Man, but it is not an official list. We are the only ones who have that information.

Anyhow, your bass was completed on 1/24/97 and shipped to our distributor in France..
