OT: Marbass for sale on the web

For all you guys and gals who like Markbass. I was looking around web at bass amp stuff this morning and found Markbass for sale. Their stuff is finally for sale on Guitar Center and Musician's Friend websites. It looks like like they have most of the line on there now.

I saw that last night. I heard it won't actually be available until the end of May early June they are just taking pre-orders right now. It is nice to be able to look the stuff up though and find out how much it costs. If you notice some of the items are actually cheaper than they were at GC stores and with no sales tax and free shipping it's kind of a no brainer!

They have quite a bit more selection, including alot of stuff I have not seen before.

I have gotta think that MarkBass kind of shot themselves in the foot by having GC be their sole representative in the US market. GC pretty much has them at a fixed price, and a little competition might have been good for getting more amps out there and getting their name known.

For sure, the GC sales guys that I know do not know much about these amps, and will try to put guys into GKs and Ampegs instead.

I love my MarkBass gear. And wouldn't mind buying more.

But, I hate having to drive two and a half hours to see the gear.

It sure would be more convenient if you could order it online.

Well, they did win "Best Bass Head" and "Best All-Around New Product" in the 2008 reader's choice awards in the new Bass Player Magazine.
