that I don't own a super sport (esp a RW one). and a morse too. I've always wanted a RW super sport and i've hung out with beej a ton so I've heard 8 billion good things about the Morse models. I played one at NAMM and at the desert bash and the neck was super nice... + it comes with 12 pickups and 82 switches. talk about awesome...

So here's my question to you guys...

Any of you surprised, shocked or in disbelief that you've never owned a particular MM?

Actually, all I'm in shock or disbelief about is your "hug out with Beej":D:rolleyes:

I am anxiously awaiting my Morse and sadly miss my AL

I actually have a pic of the guitar displays that EBMM saved on my pc and I named it "EBMM Tree of Love" There are so many incredible models of guitars and basses that I would love to own but unfortunately I have yet to establish myself in the local scene. Since we moved to Vegas I have been a full-time stay at home dad of two awesome boys as well as being a full-time UNLV student.
Once I graduate and get into some serious home recording I see myself as an owner of a stable of tasty EBMM's

The funny thing is, in the last few weeks, I have been doing some late night jamming on the LE Luke Keith lent me. I crank up the 5150 half stack in the garage and just have fun for an hour or so. Lately, several musicians in the local bar band scene have stopped by just to hear what I'm doing. We end up talking and now I have a few friends in the scene which hopefully can lead to some jamming at the very least.

It's either that or convincing Darrell to rekindling his band Double Down.....although since we're would play in Vegas I think it only appropriate to call the band "The Silly Cone All Stars"

I have been fortunate to own all with the exception of the Silo Bass. Each was/is awesome in their own ways

I have enough Balls for me now and I am lucky to find the ones that I long to have. Very very happy and will be contented for a very long time ahead. A standard morse is something I would like to try if the chance arise. ;)

I've actually played every model I could come across. They only one I've never touched is an AL. And I'm not too keen on that body shape. Most of what I choose not to buy is by choice, simply because I have something else I want more at that time. Like a RW Axis. I still hope to own one, just that everytime I get the chance, I end up buying something else like a 20th...!!!! :p

Good thread Arin. (And for the record there was no hug involved ...)

I think I've owned most of the ones I wanted at one point. The only one I didn't get was the JP, and I've played it enough times that I know it's not for me. The RW Axis definitely has me interested though. But I have a RW Axis neck for a project ... so figure that will get me close.

I'd personally loved to get an old Axis Sport SSS - they don't seem to come around too often. But I passed on one before and I'm kicking myself for not grabbing it.

The Morse is definitely worth getting, one day perhaps Arin? :)

oh i completely agree. i went by a local shop with a non MM i wanted to trade in. they've had a y2d in stock for a long time. I was hoping something could happen but their asking price for the y2d was high (near actual retail) and the trade-in price they offered on my non-mm was really bad.

im sure ill find an opportunity to grab a morse soon enough
