O/T: just got back from the Talladega NASCAR race...

...and now I know what a Rock Star feels like...

the camping and stuff was fun...the races were super exciting especially only 40 feet from the inside of turn 1 and 2...but when I say I felt like a rockstar, look at the pic and you can understand why...

me and my good friend katie would walk around the pits just enjoying everything and about every 50 feet someone wanted our picture, then all of a sudden 10 guys would pop out of no where with cameras and start taking pictures...i can thank katie for the popularity there were times when our security guard friend has to rescue us, haha...

next year i might as well set up all my band's equipment and have a concert

the race was too much fun, had to share...

I love the shot of the van with the empty bottles behind the tire and the power strip with all those plugs coming out of it. Somehow, that's exactly how I envision it there.

the security guard partied with us saturday night he was super cool...i'm just so lucky that she likes being me (a lot), a laid back dorky low excitement bassist who is obsessed with racing, Musicman basses and ol'skool Porsche's...
