darkness,gloom & despair

OK YouZ'All, now I'm bummed since I needed this bass to add a BONGO to my wardrobe ... I s'pose it's off to the SPCA for me to pick pussy catz for research over at UBC ... hey Jack, You wanna ship this baby back over the 49th and save some pussy catz for little girlz and boyz who need petz to cuddle, or, you know of any other '07 LE 5s avail, for the Canajun market, a BONGO would be great, but an SR5 would do me just fine preferably with Piezo, and letz face it, I don't wiggle fingerz yet, so, except for the pussy catz, my need is not yet life threatening, but it is there/here;):)meanwhile, If yer sure about keepin' this Beaut fer yerself, then, of course, BIG Congratz and play her in good health ok!Eh?:)

In that case, here's a picture of my Balls.

Congrats on the new BD Bongo, Jack.

I think I finally have all the knobs figured out and it's strung up with, um, you know, strings and the setup is almost perfect.

Well. I think I've found a single-coil equipped Bongo I'm going to go ahead and just KEEP. Testing it out with Shawn Colvin (my usual test music) and it just kills.

There are some serious tones in this sucka. I've had a few piezo-equipped basses and the SmallEQ four banger kicked ass, but this takes it up a notch (perhaps because I need frets, at least partly, but also - hi BP! - because it's a fiver).

I'll try to get some Camp Bovine approved photos up soon, but I might be a little busy playing this thing.

It rocks. Thanks again to Pete the Davy Duck for the consideration and, as always, every time I get a new Bongo, to Biff and Dudley and Dargin and the whole damned crew at Music Man.

I sound better than I deserve to sound.

Jack

one too many pickup and string otherwise great

Exactly my thought. Blue Dawn is gorgeous on the Bongo, and I wrestled with the idea of ordering a BD single H Bongo throughout the order window, but life got in the way. Enjoy that one. I'll be interested to hear how much it gets played, given the number and nature of its new siblings.
