Hello guys i just wrote a mail to mr scott here is the mail

mr scott first sorry for bad english i will try to explain my problem. i want to buy exactly this guitar Ernie Ball® Music Man® John Petrucci 6 Guitar but the problem is i cant find a trusted dealer im living in turkey but we have family friends living in canada and they will help us about buying and sending me the guitar i just wonder if there is a chance for directly buying from your factory? i mean i looked to the dealers site and they are not as clear as your site about features of the guitar - just writing the collor and string number bla bla bla everything is missing if it has piezo system or what... like i said im just interested in - exactly the same guitar at the link above with full options i mean i want piezo system etc... also i cant be sure if they opened the box of the guitar tocuhed / used. there must be a way to buy from you directly made in factory checked by your engineers, packing by you, selling by you shipping by you. its pointless that a big company like you that cant make all of i count after making great and the best guitars. thanks for your attention please reply soon.

and as you read this is my problem please help and i think it will help all of my international friends having problem of buying music - man guitars

well really thanks im very glad i counldnt find a dealer in turkey it helped but it doesnt solve exactly its about the price ...i live in turkey yes but this will the last choise of buying this guitar second choise i live in turkey but my father and mother in greece and i need dealers in greece but also like i said this is the second choise and the first choise we got a family friend in canada arizona zip code is 85281 but im not satisfied with the links Welcome to the Ernie Ball ® Music Man ® Company supports and directs me when i click dealers and type the zipcode. its too silly the turkish dealers site is more secure than musicman supporting - Drum City Guitarland musiciansfriends, basscentral bla bla every thing is missing and nothing is clear about them... and what if we have to buy from a music shop not having a website. do we have to drive to a music shop hey i want this guitar here take the money, seller says we touched a little we played a little it can have a few scratch but dont bother its worth 2000 $ / 3000 $. i say it all again the guy whom is gonna buy this guitar want to make an online order which the guitars money will be paid by credit card (from a trusted site - giving full information about the guitars and can sell any model i want ) the dealer will make the shipping to the guys home and the happy end

Hi and welcome.

I can confirm that the factory will not sell directly to you.

Also you will not be able to get a new EB guitar from a USA dealer as a stipulation of their franchise is that they cannot export outside the USA - but you can buy second hand ones from them.

There would be nothing stopping you buying a guitar in the USA and then bringing it back with you - but that would invalidate the 12 month warranty/guarantee and you would probably have to pay Turkish import duty and taxes.

Another option is to buy it within the EEC and have it shipped to Greece when there would be no import charges - but then you would have to get it into Turkey.

You could stipulate that when the guitar is shipped to the dealer, that it is left unopened in the plastic bag - but your dealer should check that the guitar is OK before releasing it to you.

Good luck in getting the guitar of your dreams.

Drumcity is a good EBMM dealer, if you worry about its website, then give them a call.

You said you have a friend in Canada who can help you buy the guitar then ship to your country. I suggest you to contact EBMM customer service, tell them exactly which guitar you want and let them find the guitar for you in Canada.

If they can find one matched the spec of your guitar, let your friend in Canada call the dealer and buy the guitar.

If there isn't any guitar matched your spec, then let your friend place an order with any dealer in Canada, pay the deposit, wait about 6 months.

That's it.
There's no point to complain about how you can't buy directly from Music Man or about any website.

Drumcity is a good dealer, also is Dubaldo Music, Make 'n' Music and Perfect guitar. I'm gladly buy the guitar from these dealers any days if only I have enough money. :)

just for clarity here:

US dealers cannot sell outside the country. Same with Canada etc. IF you get a friend or family member to buy one for you from the country they live in (US or Canada) and ship it to you in Turkey then you're on your own.

The distribution network is in place for a reason but if you choose to go around it that's up to you. BUT be aware that your warranty will be void.

I'm just curious about this. Why would the warranty be void if the guitar was a bought from an authorised dealer? Wouldn't the manufacturer's warranty still be intact? Of course, I understand it's difficult to get the dealer to fix the problem, but surely contacting CS would help a great deal?

i agree with your point.i think if the guitar is bought anywhere i the world then there should at least still be a manufacturers warranty.im sure you could still call CS and they would offer free advice though.
