Off Topic Who farted?

This past weekend my new band settled on a name (Cool Shoes) and we took some promo photos.......



Actually, there were a lot of mayflies out and we were all waving them away. Really.

What the hell kinda promo pic is that for a band called Cool Shoes? All I see is half a shoe and 3/4 of a boot! You should all be wearing stuff like yellow rubber boots, these big furry boots, pointy green leprichan shoes or pink high top Converse at the very least. Sheesh!

There are two clips there, one from each of the two bands I'm in. This band plays on the "R&B mix" clip.

It's just a quick-and-dirty thing we did at our last practice in order to grab a gig. We got the gig, but it turns out I'm going to be out of town that weekend, darnit!

Thanks! High praise....I'm a believer in the "ugly white guy" theory of great guitar players.

A lot (though not all) of the greatest/most iconic guitar players are/were ugly white guys. SRV, Steve Howe, Pete Townsend, Frank Zappa....

So at least I've got half the equation going on!

It's a good thing the female singer is attractive. If I had to front the band nobody would show up!
