Buck Dharma and Richie Castellano rip it up with 'balls!

'Evening chaps.

I just stumbled upon a great clip with the legend that is Buck Dharma tearing it up EBMM style during a Blue Öyster Cult gig.

The fun starts at 1:25, when the quick thinking Richie Castellano covers for Buck, as his Steinberger (the Cheeseberger) battery fails.

At 2:08, Richie hands his axe over to Buck.

I've been lucky enough to catch BÖC live with Richie in the lineup, and he is a great player.

Buck is a hell of a player. Youtube videos are notorious for poor sound; watching him cut loose at a live show is seriously impressive.

For sport, be sure to catch the infamous [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apMR_q3RHIA"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia]sketch. I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell!!!

I grew up on those guys graduating in 1979... Great stuff. They were actually the first concert I ever went to, at the fabulous Baltimore Civic Center, Blue Oyster Cult and Rainbow... $8 tickets, 10th row.

Now Rainbow is a great, under rated band.
