I just Photoshopped up a Bongo with a maple fretboard. I'm a big sucker for the "black 'n' maple" look. I think it would be awesome to have a Bongo in that scheme. :D

Do you guys like it?

P.S: Sorry I was too lazy to do the 2nd headstock logo. :p

Roon, if you like it, that's good enough for me.

I mean, I don't, but who cares?

BP says maple boards are fugly on 'em, but I've learned to never say never.

I don't know how anyone could call that fugly!
But as the old saying goes, different strokes for different folks eh? :)

I quite like it. I'd buy one if they came out with maple boards. Not for my next bass mind you. Two out of my three basses are black, that's a pretty high fingerprint magnet ratio! :p I'd like something wild for my next bass. Pacific Blueburst, Blue Dawn, maybe even dark cherry burst. :)

The Candy Apple Red with maple neck would be awesome. The headstock wouldn't even have to match, and it would be great.

maple is almost always better than rw. if the look of the bass calls for a dark fb, go with ebony. sorry, not a fan of RW at all

When the Bongo comes with a Maple fretboard, I will buy one. Until then, I just want one.

Ooooh! Nice!! Yea, I really dig that. I never thought a maple neck would look that good on the ol Bongo.

Pops has taken his stand on a maple boarded Bongo, but the 'shop job above makes me think they may look sweet, and I more often than not prefer rosewood.
