For you Dream Theater Fans.

I had the most incredible time of my life, Tuesday night. I had DreamTheater VIP Backstage Pass Tickets for ProgressiveNation2008 in Chicago. The Meet & Greet after the show was great. Very cool, down to earth guys. We took pictures with the band and got autographs.

I stood center stage, dead center all night long. Myung was sensational! He had 5 Bongo6s with him ( 4 off stage-left) including a Sequoia gold model HH. He used the silver HS most of the night, except a silver HH used during "As I Am". (A quick change, since the 'B' string is tuned up to 'C' for that tune.) I also noticed that he had a different nut installed on his main Bongo6. It appeared to be ebony or some dark colored hard-wood.

Petrucci's Wah pedal was literally one foot in front of me. I had to watch out so that Petrucci and LaBrie wouldn't step on my hands.

And... his sound on stage was Powerful, Clear, and Rocks!!!

I saw them last fall and for the first time was able to clearly hear the basslines. Myung sounded better than on any of their previous live and studio recordings. The bass was just there.
