I have always wanted a Rolex GMT master II with a black bezel.... One day she will be mine!

Oh, you mean the one with the black CERAMIC bezel?:D That one has prices way way above list in the market now... it's absurd... But then, waiting for the price to drop is like waiting for a star to fall...

Thanks for calling my watch a dinosaur. Besides, I prefer the older look, I think it's much nicer.

:D

Sorry man... No offense meant...:p

That Pepsi bezel is what most craved in the past. Now with this Ceramic bezel in the market, that pepsi bezel has become somewhat like an unwanted lost child... If you can still find one in the stores, I'm sure they can be bought at a good price... Watch collectors can be a fickle bunch...

Rolex wouldn't fix it??? That's odd... Even Jaeger LeCoultre agrees to restoring and repairing vintage JLCs... I'd expect Rolex to do the same, since they're bigger!

Anyways, congrats on the ceramic bezel GMT for your anniversary! That's in demand now!

bp. those are too fragile for manly men that play bass. check out the Sinn line.
I wear a U1 and its made from submarine steel. it can dive deep, surf the internet and survive a hot tub session.

Cool!

Honestly, UNs aren't known for hardiness. I have customers who have bought the Freak when it came out, only to have it fail within weeks...

I don't know how Rolex does it, but they do make some of the most durable watches in the world...

But if you want that extreme condition durability when playing bass at a really good price, then BP, I'd say YOU need a BALL...::D

(heh!!! I always wanted to be able to say that to you!!!):p
