Hey Guys,

I'm looking at buying an EBMM EVH serial number 81759 can anyone advise what year this guitar would be please.

I have a Peavey Wolfgang and other guitars but as I dont know the guy I'm buting from wnat to be sure of model

I believe that would be a '91 and would be the 759th EVH produced that year. Someone here will surely correct me if I'm wrong.

That one was actually done on 7/08/92 :)

Cool. So the 1 clearly does not mean the year it was produced. Mine is an "83" and I bought it in '93. I think the salesman even told me that's what it meant. Of course it was GC so you have to take any "insight" the salesman might have with a grain of salt.:p

EBMM uses a specially developed and patented process of assigning serial numbers. The exact procedure is obviously a company secret, but it apparently involves a box of neckplates and someone reaching in and pulling one out, using a special, randomized method.

What is the going price for one ????any idea. Thanks for the other guys who answered my 1st model yr question

It's probably not worth much over $2k if it's been played enough to be an 8.5. But it's probably not worth much less than that either.
