I mean, the top on my BFR also sucks big time, but I believe it's because of the lighter green finish that the true sickness of this top shines through.

That top looks different than the EB photos because the flash makes the depth really pop. It is a nicely figured top to start with but it looks super defined with plenty of 'flip-flop' mostly because of the flash IMO.

I agree that flamed top is the way to go, D.K.! They have all been excellent from what I've seen! I would happily take that quilted Emerald Burst though!

Well, BP is a father whose sons work for Ernie Ball/Music Man. Scott AKA Dargin works the Music Man side mostly. Brian works the Ernie Ball side mostly. Is he a big man? Well, he's not as big as he used to be. Maybe, we should call him Svelte Poppa. But yeah, like Don said, he's a larger than life kind of guy and has a big heart for sure.
