I'm contemplating getting the Axis with MM90s and fitting Dimarzios, but I want the model with the trem. Would the extra routing go through to the trem cavity?

If I understand what you are asking then no worries, the trem would be a vintage music man trem system, which sits flush on the body, there is no trem cavity, you just have to route the existing pup cavity due to the depth difference in pup size.

Find fsmith post about him doing the mod there are pics on what it looks like.

I meant the trem spring cavity in the back of the guitar, which is positioned right beneath the pickup cavities.

Yeah- I just read on another thread that they are 1/8th of an inch thicker than the MM90- should be OK.

Im just about to order the ASS MM90- Just have to decide on a colour...
