Just an update. I played one today at my local GC. They have a non-matching hardtail (I'm seeking matching). It had a very nice sound and was very comfortable. The strings were in dire need of changing -- very dirty. But it was good enough to catch the vibe of the guitar.

I've got a 2008 Silo Specail SSS on the way. So, somethings gotta give. If I get the 20th, my Axis will likely have to go. I hate to do that. Tough decisions to make.

You know WhiteStrat, if you ever decide to get rid of that one on the left through me a PM please, I'd be very interested. :)

Heh... Sorry Glenn. That one has become my favourite 20th so far. It's a hard tail, and the guitar is extremely light and bright. With the PAF Joe and FRED I threw in, it's 1000% awesome now!

Not to mention that top...:p

I have both matching and non-matching 20ths in RW. Honestly, after getting a non-matching one, and doing this to it:

I'm very glad I got one...

I'm just glad I jumped on this one from Norrin Radd before anyone else saw it...:D

WS man that's great and a wicked top to boot man. Glad to hear your mods have made it even better for you man. :)

I remember looking @ the numbers when Norrin put it up for sale and at that time, it wasn't gonna happen, such is life.

You can always get another Axis. There are only 366 20th Anniversary Silhouettes. If I didn't catch AL fever a couple months ago, my energies and resources would be spent acquiring another 20th.

My 20th is the best. I put five springs in the Trem and it is rock solid. Oh, and it is Koa topped......

SHOW OFF!!!!! Hahahahahahaha, come on Henry you know you need to post a picture of it to floor everyone. ;)
