I'd give my left nut for a Schon. Where did you pick that up?

There was a gut on the Journey website selling it.
He had a Ferrari Yellow and a Red one. I wanted the Yellow, but he would not part with it.
It is a Jackson made in USA model, as they were the company that built the originals.

I changed the pickups to EVO's and they kick @@@.
Great guitar.

Sometimes its hard to get a true view of quilts and flames unless you see them in person.
But then I have had others that looked OK, but when photographedand in the right light they looked amazing.

Also, I ordered another guitar. A JP Blue Dawn. I have apparently got bad GAS for EBMM JP's.

I agree, maple tops are extremely hard to photgraph.

Btw I love Blue Dawn. I hear it's extremely hard to capture the true color in a photograph. If that's true, then it must be one hell of a color in person.

Oh and how is the neck on the BFR?

I like it but Charvel is just freaking AWESOME!

I had the Charvel done as a custom build.
The bombs on the neck are inlays.
It has a Dimarzio D-sonic.
An Original Floyd Rose
Instead of a 500k or a 250K pot, I had them install a 1Meg Pot.
The tone of the thing is incredible.
Solid Maple Body, Maple Neck w/ Jumbo Frets.

The neck on the BFR is the best neck I have ever played. It is so smooth and fast.
The fret work on the guitar is impecable.
The Ball Family are artist of guitars.

When I switch to Piezo the guitar sounds wonderful. The BFR JP has so many sound and tone options available, and the guitar itself is so nice, that a person would be hardpressed to find any fault with the product.

And it also helps that my wife loves the color and look, and that my 3 Schnauzers love the case.

I caught my "little buddies" in my Carvin case not long ago which is a G&G tweed case. They'd setup shop and was ready to take a nap! HA HA!

Nice guitars man! I bet the color is stunning in person!

If that Charvel just had birds eye on the fretboard and neck I'd be falling over right now!
