I've been looking at delving into the tube amp world for a while and found a deal that was too good not to try. It's a Hughes and Kettner Edition Tube 20th Anniversay model combo, and w/ Music 123 I have a month to play around and see if I really want it. It's a dual channel single eq 20w that lists for a grand and with the coupon code, is down to 300!!

Any one use one of these w/ their Balls? I figure for home and small gigs it would be fine, or you could just mic it. I'm looking forward to my 1st tube amp and running all my guitars through it! It should be an upgrade to my Fender dsp 90 solid state. Ha Ha Ha!

I will let you guys know.

Hey Fogman, did you ever get an amp, I forgot. This might be a decent deal for you too if you didn't. Eventually I'd like a Boogie Mark V when they come out but that will probably be next year or the year after.

No not yet. I had my sights on an Egnater MOD50, then the company announced they weren't taking any new orders until like August/September because they were so backlogged. The initial wait time of 3 months instantly became 6-8.
They are currently reconfiguring manufacturing/ordering processes.
I'm in no real hurry. I've got time to wait. :)
