Bass Player magazine Retro-Rama EB Earthwood Acoustic bass write-up

In the new Bass Player magazine (August 2008, Stanley/Marcus/Victor on the cover) Dave Pomeroy does a 3/4 page write up on a 77 Earthwood acoustic bass. The article is all positive so if any of you were hoping to score one on eBay, I'm guessing your chances aren't going to be so good for awhile.

Oh, by the way, the reader's tip of the month (page 68) is from ME!

True fact. No one, not even my tone-deaf wife who notes that the three of them aren't in the same order as their names on the masthead...

I'm a sucker for anything bass related. If they put out sandpapery toilet paper with bass news on it, it'd walking around with a red rear-end all day.

I've even listened to every edition of that horrid bass podcast "Basscast", although I don't recommend it to anybody.

Erm, I was jokingly referring to the almost-addictive reading of that magazine, even by those of us who thinks the testing is the worst in the business, and of course a write-up in BP will boost interest in the Earthwood
