I think for that kind of dough I'd rather buy a black and a gold EVH!

No way!

It's a great looking guitar...

Just wanted someone to confirm if it's really the last one off the production line at Music Man?

And how did Guitar Center get it if that's the case?

Someone?

That guitar has been there since the Manchester store opened.

And at $30k they can keep it, as far as I am concerned. Nice to know it has been reduced from $35k though...

Yeah, I remember seeing it opening night. I remember getting a real chuckle out of the $35K price because East Coast Music Mall had an authentic frankensteiner Kramer from the 1984 tour that Eddie played, had a COA that he actually did play it at a show, had the cigarette burn in the headstock and everything. I believe they sold that for like $14K back in late '97/early '98.

If I had the money for that, I'd be out there buying a new car, a new computer, a new cell phone, a BFR AL, and a JP7 of some sort.

If you're going to ask that kind of coin, the least you could do is have really good pics . . . and a lot of them.

Quite frankly, I don't think they are looking to sell it... However, if someone out there wants it enough to throw $30,000 at it, they'll let it go (with a chuckle and a smile).

Moreover, who cares if it's the last... now if it was the BEST or ONLY EVH, the price would make slightly more sense (think Mr. Horsepower and the Global Warming Silo).

Cheers

I have serial number 88019 in my collection - wouldn't that be later in production? I know the serial numbers were not sequential, but almost 1000 more guitars were assembled between mine and that one, no?

Last EVH Music Man

Sounds correct to me...
Let's see what Big Poppa has to say...

For some reason the Legend at Guitar Center is it's the last one...

In our database, serial # 87191 was done on 2/17/95. I also looked up the serial number Brett has and it was done on 9/15/95.

But, it looks like the 87191 EVH was not sold or shipped until April of '96 I don't know if there is any more history to this particular one. Possibly this could be the last one shipped?
