A Stingray on steroids, eh? Well, if I wasn't *completely* sold on the Bongo already, that did it.

I have to say that I really, really, really hate when a bass is described as sounding like another bass on steroids.

I certainly don't think the Bongo has shriveled testicles, is balding prematurely and has an enlarged cranium. And, I don't even think it sounds like a Stingray, but "stronger," either.

I just know that Bongos are extremely versatile basses that don't have a look that conforms to the other 100s of bass designs out there. And, that's why I have three of them with plans for at least 2 more.
