Just got a summer job @ my local EBMM dealer!

Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I last checked in here, but I thought these news were cool enough to make a short stop.



I'm gona work for about 10 days at our local EBMM dealer in Zagreb, while some other employees are on vacation.

Just wanted to share the excitement, 'cause I'm PSYCHED! I wanted a summer job like this for years!

Ahhhhhhhhhh retail oh to be young again.....

Some tips for you my good man.

1. - Buy a good pair of shoes, the life of a guitar salesman is tough on feet.
2. - Staff discount is your friend, memorise trade prices and the industry will never appear the same.
3. - take it easy on kids wanting to try that £300000000 guitar on the wall - you were that young too once!

4. - eat healthy it's a long day

5. - be nice to EVERY customer, a guy I worked with once insulted Richie Blackmore not knowing who he was

Well done on the job, it'll be the time of your life, but unless things have changed the pay isn't great, enjoy yourself!!!!

Thanks a bunch for the tips. I'm okay with the job conditions and everything, and comparing to my pay at the market-research agency where I've been working at since summer has started, the pay at the store will be much better. Even if it wasn't, I'd be much happier working at a music store for a lower salory than interviewing people over the phone all day long.

By the way, this store is the dealer for some of the best brands around! I won't name any other electric guitar brands, but they work with Bogner, Mesa Boogie, Korg, Vox, Martin etc.

I hope you have a great time! I wish I could get a job at a local EBMM dealer, but there aren't any around me and I'm probably not old enough for people to want to hire. Supposedly the GC near me had a JP6 Pearl Redburst in stock recently though, and they stock the basses, but even that would be too much of a hassle because it isn't that close.

Pa isključi, ja sam ionako naviko na probe bez klime, znaš kako je kod mene u podrumu pakleno!
a kod jure ćemo ionako napravit samo prvu probu sad, a za dalje ćemo složit neki bubanj kod mene!
