The Axis is definitely next on my list. I'm sure it sounds amazing through the Ecstasy. Enjoy it! It would be hard not to haha.

Not sure if you got this at the Sacto GC, but I may have played this one in the store. I still have my eye on that Rosewood one there, and they're keeping it high up on the wall.

What a beauty you got!

Thanks everyone for all the congratulations and such; I am very happy I took all the positive info on this guitar to heart, as I am very happy with it.

As far as Guitar Center in Sac, no, I didn't get it there. I generally prefer to use the independent dealers over GC, as I feel I get better service, better knowledge behind the products, and they try harder to keep me as a customer. I bought it from Bizarre Guitar in Reno, NV. I do use Guitar Center from time to time, but not as my first choice for guitars. They are great for recording gear though and I bought my Pro-Tools setup there.

Oh and the Bogner? Sounds amazing with this guitar. The third channel (Red Channel), I generally stayed away from in the past, but this guitar works exceptionally well with the red channel, and I mean like an amazing tone. I am able to nail most of the tones in my head, including EVH tones easily. That amp has always had a very organic feel, and with a Les Paul it feels very comfortable. Some of the other guitars I have played with it though have been really sterile (not to slam them, but PRS and Anderson guitars just didn't work for me-too stiff and sterile sounding to my ears). This guitar fits the amp like a glove-very organic sounding, and I feel like I can dial in ANY tone I want with it.

I am very happy with this combination of guitar/amp.

BTW, glad to see someone local that also has good taste in instruments.

Nice! Classic EVH colours to boot!
Yeah, it reminded me of the way EVH's used to look, but DJ Ashba used one just like this in Beautiful Creatures, and I think that's where the bug really bit me. Plus, I have always liked amber guitars-the unburst so to speak.
