Ha - nice one Tim,
I have some photos which I'll scan in tonight -= there will be some repetion.

It was a long drive there and back - and I sucked on a lot of sweets. I couldn't see if my tongue was quite so red when Tim's missus took the photos. I'm pleased to see that it was still a "vivid" colour. - who needs a devils mask eh?

First off thanks to :-
Dave for organising the event.
Strings n Things for their support - hope the long journey home went ok lads?
Steve Morse for making the night one to remember
Mrs Morse who often looked skywards as Steve eloquently and philosophically explained/answered a whole assortment of questions.
Ernie Ball for their input and support of the event.

I'll post back later with my "report".

Back in the land of the living now - long drive for me too, but well worth it.

I loved hearing and seeing Steve Morse play, and to be so close to him while he made a guitar sound that good was a real honour.

SM and the Dreggs have a place in my heart - as a kid I would look forward to Friday night, when I would plug the headphones into my parents hi-fi and listen to the Friday Rock Show with Tommy Vance. "Take it off the Top" was the theme tune and whenever I hear it, it reminds me of my mis-spent youth!

Surprisingly, the part of the clinic I got most enjoyment from was hearing him talk about his life and his views about how to approach playing the guitar. I learnt alot, and it has already started me thinking about changes I need to make to get better.

It was also great to meet Dave, Spud and Tim - who kindly took this photo of me meeting Steve.

Thanks again Steve, Dave, S&T, and EBMM for a great night.
