I was skateboarding at the local skatepark with my daughter, and tried to drop in to a bowl. Board went out from under me and I crashed backward. Thank god for helmets.

Some activities are just not compatible with being a guitarist!

Don't feel too bad, you'll bounce back before you know it.

I had shoulder surgery for a rotator cuff and a few other things at the end of April. I was told that I couldn't do anything for 4 weeks. I was going nuts after 2 days. I could hardly move my right arm, but I found that if I rested the guitar on my leg in a certain position, and anchored my arm a certain way, I could at least move my wrist and hand with not much pain, and I could play a little. 2 weeks later and I was much better, and a month into it and I was able to play like I always did.

I broke my collarbone last week. Right side. No guitar for six weeks at least. Hurts like crazy

I was flat on my back and the site monitor was yelling "call an ambulance". They called the ambulance even though I kept saying "i'm fine, don't call an ambulance". Finally they canceled the ambulance. So it must have looked prettty cool.
