Hey guys I have a Axis that I have owned since early 2000. I bought it from a friend who was hard up for some cash. So my question is does anyone know the rareity of this guitar I dont know what the mfg date is. A91473 is whats on the back of the guitar. It has a Rosewood fretboard with a tone and volume control and the 3 way toggle is below the volume and tone controls. So if anyone has any idea please let me know thanks!!

Hey Scott - welcome aboard and nice Axis - go to the Music Man Guitars main page and there is a sticky thread in the top section entitled "My Ernie Ball's Serial # is... ". Make your entry there and Dan will tell you about the history of your guitar. I just did myself and he got a reply back in a flash. He's that good! Who knows though, he may see this post and answer it here....

Also, there is a saying here that if there is no pic then it doesn't exist. :)

Sounds like an ASS... Why would it be only 50 pieces?

Scott -

Not too many of these were made at all - Less than 50 total. Yours was made on 10/07/97 and was shipped to GC #443 in Houston.
