I got my Axis a couple of weeks back, and originally thought it was a really good guitar. After playing it for a few more days, I found it to be amazing. Now I find it indespensable. I could live without a Les Paul (which I never thought I'd say), but I really can never see myself parting with this guitar, and I can see myself getting at least one more.

The thing plays like God; I am doing things I haven't done in years, and some stuff I have never done-it just brings it out of me. The guitar, in one word, is inspiring. I am using it with a Bogner Ecstasy, and it's like the guitar was designed with that amp in mind; they sound SO good together! I don't know if anyone has had a chance to play an Axis with one of these, but the sound with the red channel and the Axis is to die for; absolutely killer. Oh well, I ramble.............

Yeah, that Axis destroys with that Bogner!!

I was just in GC in Sacramento checkin' out the VHT 100/CL head - it "ripped", especially with the 4X12 P50E bottom!!

Axis is a "great" match with just about any hot amp.

Haven't heard it with a VHT, other than the new one (SIG X), which I didn't really like. I imagine with any real tone machine that it'd kick ass.

BTW, if you decide to get a VHT, PM me, as I've got a line on a good deal on new ones. Nothing that I'd profit from mind you, I just like to pass on a good deal to others when I can.

Tell me about it! I grew up playing an Aria PE Series guitar that has destroyed my back in later life!

Gotta agree with the original post - I gotta say that I'm a better player having changed to MMEB and thats after owning a Les Paul from new.
