I cleaned it up again today.

Everything prior to June is history. If you still have a guitar for sale from before that cut-off, feel free to relist it.

Also - please - if you drop your price (or whatever) and have more than one post with all your photos and details, please delete the earlier one and leave only the current info up. When replying to a FS ad, there's no need to copy ALL THE PHOTOS.

All superfluous comments have also been deleted (twenty minutes of my life I'll never get back).

Just try to keep it clean and easy and fast, mmmmkay?

Thanks.

Jack

Can you do anything with the e-bay threads?

Or do you need more than 24 hours in a day to deal with that one? :D

Great Jack. :)

When replying to a FS ad, there's no need to copy ALL THE PHOTOS.

It think this could apply to all sections actually. It really makes it more difficult to have to scroll through a bunch of pictures that are just copies, to get to the reading. People could use better judgement in the usage of "quotes" and cull out all the pics. Or not use the "quote" button when the post has major picture content. More "quick reply" and pic culling!

Good on ya.

Also, you skinny-stringers sure like to RUN OFF AT THE MOUTH. I just cleaned up the eBay thread. Discovered I can only delete 400 posts at a whack, and is still took me the better part of the morning.

Jeez, clean up after yourselves, will you?

I think that's a valid point.
I get tired of sometimes seeing a whole page of posts which are nothing more than the same picture(s) repeated 3 or 4 times.

If everyone did everything just right, all I would have to do is hang around and be witty and distinguished and so on.

Hey, it DOES give me something useful to do around here.

I have a perfectly wonderful guitar (off-brand, mind you - a Fender parts mutt) that I never, ever play. Also a Martin acoustic that I also never play.

At this point in my life, I know that I don't need another instrument I won't play, although I admit that a certain Albert Lee with rosewood board makes me quiver. But I probably wouldn't play THAT, either. (I'd just slobber on it.)

Me with a six string is like a wolverine with an electron microscope.

Texas Finally!
I have seen Jacks six stringers, they are quite nice, even if they are an off brand:p

But he is Lord Bongo and a hell of a bass player so I think he should stick with buying more Bongos:)
