Just got back from the Detroit Lukather concert at the Magic Bag and it was awesome! Your new songs are killer and the surprises you pulled out were truly inspired. I won't spoil it for others seeing your show on later dates.

For those who are wondering, Lucious played the majority of the show with the Sustainer equipped Rad Red Luke, with the Dargie coming in a close second. We also got a glimpse of the BBB BFR Luke and the Prototype Carmel Burst BFR Luke. Each sounded distinctly different and all sounded extraterrestrial. (Yes, I'm blatantly being a fanboy so for those of you who don't like it... you can get bent. ;))

I also must give props to your band. A very talented bunch of guys and they sure look like fun to work with.

Thank you Steve for one of the best shows that I've seen.... ever!

Steve's a great guy and don't forget: he could of kept Toto going just for the income. But instead he has decided to pursue what we all love and that's music! :) Can't wait to catch up Luscious...

I suppose one could get to a point where the money is just not worth the ensuing insanity... I mean, as much as I enjoy Toto, I think I'd go nuts having to play Hold The Line for 30 years. :D

Thanks for the feedback any chance we can get the setlist ?

Lucious said there will be a lot from 1st album, but as of today ever changing time is still my prefered one and on heavy rotation in my Ipod (Stab in the back just kills me each time I hear it)

James, thanks for the review! I'm getting worked up for his CT show on Sunday; Nick and I will be going along with a couple other people. Glenn said he might even make it down, also.

I'm looking forward to hearing the new stuff , and of course if there are any surprises those will be nice, too!

One of our students at the Beller's store just bought a Sapphire Black LUKE from us last month and said he will be going to the show to experience Luke live - I believe he bought every single Luke CD just before he bought the guitar.

Sunday Sunday Sunday! :D

I'm digging New World, and Stab In The Back is a fantastic song a la the "dan"

One of the truly inspiring things about watching Luke and his band is how much fun they were having. They were just playing for the sheer enjoyment playing. Lucious also spent time giving respect to his bros in TOTO... truly a class act.

I don't want to give the setlist away and ruin the surprises for people yet to see the concert (and because I can't remember all of it - they played over 2 hours). Lets just say that the set spans his career and everything sounds fresh and rockin'! \m/

Pete... I got your email. I can't wait for my new baby to arrive... everyone will have to wait to see what it is. ;)

LOL

I'm going to Luke's concert tonight and if there were an option of knowing the set list or not, I would for sure rather not know and be surprised.

I like all the songs on the ECT CD, and that is fairly rare for me. My top three favorites are.......
Stab in the Back
The Letting Go

I guarantee you some big surprises if he plays the same set. Amazing!
