EVH/Axis and it's breathern continue to hold the #1 to #xx slots for me. I love the compound radius necks...To me, they're just..... right...

I think you mean assymetric neck shape. The Axis and EVH both share the same straight 10" radius.

Quite frankly, you can't go wrong with either guitar and I would be hard presset to pick one of the two... But I would probably end up getting the Morse - modding it to fit my own devilish plans.

Cheers

that's two totally different guitars. I think, Morse is much more easy to play, it has better neck. But Axis sounds more powerful, it's a perfect rock guitar, very fat sound. Morse is "thinner"

My Morse isn´t thin !!!! :D:D

Mine neither, it's so fat that I had to install a coil tap so I wouldn't take over the mix so much at times.

:D you want to explain your Morse description a bit more detailed? :D

Yes, I'd like to hear more detail about this too...

I'm a happy Morse Y2D owner. By the way, I traded in my Axis to buy it. Morse sounds great, but definetly "thinner". Very-very different guitars. Personally I like my Morse much better Axis, I added auto-split of bridge humbucker in 4-th position, now it has some "quack"...

i might not be of any help, but.... buy both!! :)

Yeah, that might clear the problem up quick!

Do you guys think it is a good idea buying a guitar from Muscians Friend, Sam Ash, or any other online Mega Retail outfit? I heard some horror stories about them, but I kept hearing that EBMM's quality is the best...so I may not have to worry all that much.

If in the US, I would buy from Pete DuBaldo without a second thought. He's an active forum member here as well.
