Wow! Luke was on fire last night and it was quite possibly the best show that I have ever seen. His bandmates are all out-of-this-world musicians and Ricky Z on guitar can sing like you wouldn't believe.

Some highlights, without spoiling too much of it for those of you going to the BB King gig, involved a party in someone's pants; a liquid instrumental with Luke making the guitar cry; and a monster keyboard and drum solo, where the drummer rotated the accents around the measures while laughing with the keyboardist who was soloing over the top. You could tell all the guys were having a blast, there were smiles on everyone's faces virtually the entire night, and the dedication to Jeff Porcaro and his family (in attendance) was touching to say the least.

One of our students took a drive down to the venue which was about an hour and a half from the store. Glenn met up with us there, too - after a 3+ hour drive. Nice seeing you there Glenn!

Luke, great job! It was a pleasure seeing you again, and we all look forward to your next gig. Thank you for doing what you do.

Pete I'm in agreement 100% Luke it was an excellent show!!! The band is just fantastic that is really what I think. . . . . Hahahahahahahaha. ;)

Pete and Nick always good to see you guys and it was nice to met the student (name escapes me, sorry).

It was a about a 3 hour ride for me, Richfield was an awesome place, the town and the theater!!!

Luke was a great show man and played his a$$ off. I had a great seat from the Mezzanin and stalked the bus (by the way man, NICE BUS!!) to get Luke to sign a couple of things and he was very gracious to do so. I called him "Lucious" and he was like, "Your one of the guys!!" I was like yah man for sure. It was very warm and very heart felt and very much appreciated. :)

I'm in agreement that it rates up there as one of my top shows, just great energy and an awesome sense of fun, nice to see people enjoying their work.

I tell you though, Luke said he wasn't gonna play "Hold the line" , but. . . . . . Hahahahahahahaha

Thanks guys

I had a good time. It was the 5th show in a row and I made it. hahaha Having to sing that much is hard, especially after 2 weeks ago being beat down, but I DO have a great band and they make me play.
Always great to see Pete and the gang of knuckleheads! Thanks for comin!!

The Porcaro's were born in Hartford, Conn. so it was their extended family I saw. I love them all.

My old friend and famous producer-engineer Elliot Scheiner was there as well with his family. If it wasnt for him I would not have met my wife and had another baby. Its all HIS fault. haha

Thanks for the kind words and I hope I get to see you all again soon.
Lucious

PS I signed a sh*t load of straps and photos for Japan courtesy of Pete Dubaldo on behalf of the Ball family. Thanks for the hassel Pete and I am just glad we are selling guitars! I am very proud to be a small part of this family!

That's cool! Luscious, does your band plan to play out here in the desert when you come towards LA? That would be awesome!

I'm going to go through the photos tonight, there are 3 memory cards for 3 cameras with dead batteries to sort through.

Luke, no hassle at all bro! You rocked and it was obvious you were enjoying yourself onstage. I think you must have signed close to 90 pieces for Japan before the show - there were way more than 40 photos!

Since we were already going to the concert, it just made sense for us to help everyone out. The girls and Nick did a great job getting the straps and photos prepped for the promo, and I've got one of those other straps cooking for you.

That really was an incredible show! It's so refreshing to see a show where the band not only performs exceptionally well, but has a great time doing so.

Glenn, it's always a pleasure. Sorry we weren't able to hang with you longer after the show.

Luke, you have no idea what kind of impact you made on our student; he was at the shop today for a few hours and did not stop talking about the show and your playing. He's been experimenting with his new Luke over the past month and to see first-hand the versatility of the guitar in your hands, he was absolutely blown away. You've definitely got a new fan-for-life.
