I took a trip down to Rex's house last weekend and left with a Bongo 4HH(Sapphire Black). It looks exactly like the one I used to have and sounds great.I really don't think I gave my last one enough time before I offed it.I've already found some great tones that I never took the time to find last time. The Bongo sounds so great flat you almost forget that you can pretty much get anything you want out of it with the 4-band EQ and pickup blend. It seems to be a match made in heaven with my SVT Classic . The Bongo is so alive and responsive to playing dynamics that it IMO reacts very much the same way that a tube amp does to your playing touch.Pairing them together provides an incredible amount of power and with great power comes great responsibility(who remembers what movie that line is from?) so i'm going very easy on the EQ and volume. It's got hybrid slinky's on it right now which sound great but I can't wait to try it with some stainless steel super slinky's.Anyways, thanks to Rex for the great deal and the hospitality...............here's the proof

I see you also got the photo in which Rex used his dinner jacket as the background.
