is there any noticeable difference in the thickness of the paint between s Black SR4 and Natural SR4, and if so, how does it affect the sound?

its just a layer of paint... it still sounds awesome

The natural SR 4 is made of different wood. That probably has more impact on the sound than the pigment of the colour!
