All Hail the CIC of the ALOC - MbGreen

I had been trying to get some EB Wonder Wipes (fretboard Conditioner) here in Cardiff and nobody seemed to have it in stock.

I'd called into numerous other UK shops whilst working in different parts of the UK - alas, still no joy! None at the UK Morse soiree either.

So my brother informs me that he was taking his wife over to New York for a week - 5 star hotel blah blah.

So I said to him "Could ya try and get me a can of W Wipes?"

Our CIC not only tracks down the nearest shops to my brothers hotel, he also phones around and establishes that only GC 25W 14th Street Manhattan has any in stock - infact only 3 small cannisters.

I inform my brother and he bought all 3 for me.

He is not a musician - he is a designer (in TV ) and was knocked out by the ambiance and the displays at GC. Hats off to the salesperson (JZ Gradman) who provided stellar service.

Thanks MGB for the time and effort you took in tracking down the wipes!!

Although the second instance in the thread was as a result of what we'd discussed another time - remember - you said you liked the cars but didn't think you could fit into one. (Wish I had the same problem!!).

the Cardiffian is knoman ... started a thread about new guitar..tough decision. i told him he should contact you since you've posted a few times abiout some used stuff available locally in Cardiff

Yea, help me play better
