Ummh, ... NO ! :D

I'd rather say the Autumn Redburst finish on this Silo doesn't actually fit your style, Ripper. I'd suggest you send it to me... ;) :D

I'm curious to see how the dark pearl PG looks on that body, although I much prefer lighter coloured PGs on autumn redburst...

Go ahead - we want pics !!!

Cheers mate

Ripper, I'll hold judgement until I see it on it man. I'm thinking that the darker color might look rockin. Are you doing it soon?

The transformation will take place quite soon...

Rip, already working it man. I'm putting Luke EMG's in it and solid saddles. I think I've decided on this PG.

Hey Jimmy, I think it goes well. Mine was originally set up with black pearl.

Is your new pickguard factory fresh or with custom pickups?

Looking again, is that black pearl or moonstone, or abalone ?

...hmm, not bad either.

But with a maple neck and natty headstock, I'd really rather stick to white pearl or lighter coloured PGs with the finish on this guitar... but again, that's just my li'l taste o'mine...
On the other hand, Ripper's got a rosewood fretboard...

Hey Bruce, yours an inspiration for this transformation.

The pickguard I have right now is a minty fresh, black pearl loaded guard with factory pickup. As advised by you, the price is very reasonable with all the pickups, controls and the silent circuit!!

Btw folks, got this too for the white HSS setup! Not letting the old pups gone wasted! :D Alright!!!

Jimmy, mmm, minty fresh! Curious how you will like the stock SSS. I love em. Every time I think of changing them out I dismiss it after playing them awhile. What I like best is they go from clean to breakup seamlessly. Lot of overwound pickups sound crappy clean, and vintage can sound pretty ratty when overdriven. I know they're not everyone's cup of tea, but I think MM got it right.

Lemme know how it works out for ya, bud. I think it's a sharp looking combo with the black pearl.
