As for the lawn, man it's a battle this summer - a full time job. Worst raccoon year ever- every night is a total assault where they tear it apart. I've tried everything, have a couple of motion sensor sprinklers out there and (with my night vision goggles) I watch the l'il bastards working away anyway. Next project: install the electric fence kit to keep 'em all out! (Seriously, I did buy one.)

J, I just need to find an on-on-on 6 pin switch the same size as the one for the piezo. I have a ton of mini switches here but they are too small. I'm thinking the DiMarzio switch used in a JP might work... As far as your raccoon situation goes, I have a high-powered air rifle (.22cal/5.5mm) that can easily dispatch the groundhogs and raccoons that tear up the garden. Check out the RWS 460 Diana, or the Gamo Hunter Extreme if you don't mind a loud one. I've got both and have no problems anymore

Yeah- the middle one would have to be slanted to make it work.

But you could route the rest of the cavity- it's almost all swimming pool anyway. Take all of 5 minutes and then you'd be set.

The L-200s are noisefree singles, classic strat sounding. Have dips in the right frequencies. (As opposed to the 280s, which are more even across the frequencies.)

I've tried a whack of noisefree singles, my own opinion is that these are the best sounding (that and a buck will get you a cup of coffee). Still not as good as the best traditional singles, but quite good nonetheless. Better than the Dimarzio Areas, which are close. The Area 67, in particular, is good but I like these better.

I have a set in my AL too, really like 'em. If you need noisefree, these are the way to go.

Have you tried Kinmans yet? Yet more awesome noise-free singles. I have Chris Kinman's AvN Blues in the neck and middle positions of my strat...absolutely kick-butt!

Excellent...I'm a big fan of noiseless singles, so I'll have to give 'em a whirl!

BTW, have you tried DiMarzio Cruisers? What are your opinions on them if so?
