Just wanted to share my excitement - tonight, after work, I'm going to pic up my new Pacific Blue Burst Axis - pics to come as I've got it.
I've owned an Axis Super Sport before, but did'nt really connect with it, I think because of the rosewood fretboard and the hardtail - I like both, but an Axis just needs a maple fretboard and a trem, imho.
This will be my first floyd rose in quite a few years, though, so I will need to adjust a little to it, but I'm glad it's diveonly, because that's what I set up all my trems to do. However, I'm really looking forward to the great tuning stability, and the punch of the sound.
I'm just so excited.
