Just a random thought and I am sure BP and crew are brewing something up for 09, but here goes, how bout still having it in BR just next spring say late March or April, could show our support for the city and as a plus it would be Mudbug season, yummy, again just a thought, please pray Ike stays away from LA.
and hope for a speedy recovery for all and best wishes to TPB\TPG.

Third...as much as I want to see everyone and go to the bash it was a good call on Pops to cancel. He doesn't do anything 98%....it is 150% or nothing. Unfortunately, it had to be nothing. I agree with that and respect it.

April/May sounds like a great Idea! It’s not too far away AND its not hurricane season! I’ll make sure to keep bugging James about it so he can get with Sterling and try to work something out.

TPB/TPG really wanted to pull this event off guys. My heart nearly broke when I was told that we would not be able to host the event. Let’s hope all thing will work out for a future event!

Thanks for agreeing just makes sense to me, and spring would be nice in BR, keep bugging James and BP and see if this can happen, would be cool, plus Dixie beer and crawdads, I would be a happy camper from the food stand point alone, please take care and at least Ike will spare you, now pray for Texas.

I can think of worse places to spend a couple of days in the Spring. Heck, maybe do something around the time of JazzFest in NO, too. I certainly could go for some time in Baton Rouge and then a couple of days in NO for the festival....
