Hello,

A long story short-- I am not absent of the allen screw that goes in the bottom of the trem seat. Without it, the arm is clanky and un-useable!!

Helppp!!!!!

Not absent? :confused: :D

Your best bet is EB Customer Service, but which screw are you talking about? See below picture

Dan: I did a quick one for you and the others out there.
ebmmTREMblockBACK1.jpg

A= Trem Bar Tension Adjustment (spin control)
B= Bar Spring Mounting Screw.
C= Bar Spring (this is what the notch in your trem bar hits to keep it in the trem)

For those with piezo, your piezo junction board is mounted on the opposite side.

There is also another screw which goes straight up into the tremolo block directly underneath the bar - you can see the outline of the hole on the bottom edge in that picture directly in line with Screw A. This screw determines how far in the bar can go, and should be adjusted so the bar properly snaps into place at the bar spring.

Sry for using this old thread, I was setting up my new Silo when I first thought that this screw on the bottom is for tightening the tremolo arm so I screwed it in without any reaction on the tremolo bar. I wanted to screw it back but there is now screw in it anymore I can grab with my allen wrench key.
I guess it fell out when I took out the Tremolo bar.
Is this screw very important? I cannot find it anymore and I don't know if it makes sense to ask for a new screw....

Thanks Fabian

Honestly, have you ever seen such a thing??

A CS department than scans a fanboy forum, and jumps in whenever it thinks it can help, sorting problems and lets be honest, spending money.

Any chance EBMM can start making cars? Houses? Washing machines??

This company is amazing. I wish there were more like it.
