Well, aesthetically, it's all I hoped it would be. It's much nicer looking, I think, than Pete's pictures, which is something that he warned me about. Below are some of pics. I'll try to take better pics either tomorrow or after I get back into town next week.

So far, I think it's a great guitar. I definitely want an amp with a better clean sound to really do the guitar any justice. My F-30 just doesn't give me the high end (Maybe it's a headroom issue? Maybe, the amp is just too dark. Who knows?) to exploit the full range of sound that the guitar is able to put out. I have that same problem when it comes to my 20th. Well, someday, I'll get a new amp. Who knows? Maybe, I just need to monkey around with the amp settings. We'll see.

Yeah. I was just thinking that a 6L6 or 6V6-based amp would be perfect.

I think Spud has an F-50, which, I believe, has two 6L6s. So, if I'm correct, he's got the right amp for it...well...the right tubes anyway.

I've monkeyed with the EQ a little. It sounds better. It's a little too late to turn it up to really hear what my changes have done. I don't think I'm going to get the guitar to sound the way I want it to through that amp, though.

I totally want to hear the guitar through a Stang Ray too. Even though it's an EL-84 based amp, I think it's probably voiced better for the AL.

Maybe, I should try a Carvin Vintage 16. :D

Beautiful AL Rob

Please allow me to offer an official and formal welcome to the ALOC, including full trumpet fanfare and the releasing of the doves.
