Is there any word on this happening in the future?
I noticed when OLP guitars were doing the MM1 axis style they also had an Acoustic Guitar in the same body style in Blue..

Would love to see one someday!

Hey John,

BP has already said that there are many acoustic guitar companies that make guitars very well. So he's gonna let them make the acoustics.

Now, I'd really like to see what EBMM could do with a hollowbody electric.:D

So, if Big Poppa decided to make a hollow body Axis, he would essentially be covering the same ground that Hartley has already covered. Somehow I don't see that happening. ...
but stranger things have been known to occur in this universe...

I think it's a bit different. My understanding is that Hartley's guys made 2 hollow bodies and nobody dared show it to Ed. (he didn't take new ideas that weren't his very well, is the story). So they never went anywhere and were supposed to have been destroyed....but weren't.

I'd also love to see a hollow Axis. (trans blue with a maple fingerboard and non-matching headstock, please)

Well, unless Hartley made a hollowbody axis that we don't know about EBMM wouldn't be covering the same ground. Besides, Peavey aren't the innovators when it comes to hollowbody electrics. Pretty much every guitar manufacturer out there has there own version of a hollowbody in various models. I'm sure whatever EBMM came up with, it would kick A$$.

That would look pretty cool. I'd like to see what a JP and Silo would look like, too. Or maybe come up with a new body design for the hollowbody.
