ok so do i disconnect the black & white wires from the tone knob and solder them together and cover them ?
or disconnect them from the source ??
hope this makes sence??
its from a LUKE musicman..

You just disconnect the white one and cover it with tape. The black one is only ground connection, you can leave that one alone.

Better still, why you just get a push/pull knob installed to engage/disengage the tone, that way youhave greater choice.

I did this with my ASS and the result is wonderful with greater variety!

I think it may be brighter but wont make that big of a difference. I usualy take out my tone controls so I can move the volume in its place. I hate feeling cramped while playing so I stopped playing strats. That and I would always turn myself down.
